Why Airsoft for a Team Event?

Airsoft is uniquely suited as a team event because it creates genuine high-pressure scenarios where the abstract values of teamwork become concrete and immediately tested. Unlike office workshops or rope courses, an airsoft team day places every participant in a situation where communication directly affects the outcome of the game — and where every team member has a role to play.

The sport is honour-based: every player calls their own hits honestly, no matter how competitive the situation becomes. This foundation of trust mirrors the dynamics you want to foster in any team — whether that is a sports club, a company department, a hobby group or any other collective that wants to strengthen its bonds.

What Happens on the Day?

Tartu Airsoft organises team events at venues in Tallinn (Harku) and Loksa (Suurpea). The day begins with a full safety briefing and equipment distribution. Our marshals introduce the participants to the rules, the safety protocols and the game structure before the first scenario begins.

Teams are formed based on your group's composition, and the marshals guide the group through a series of mission-based scenarios designed to promote teamwork and strategic thinking. Common game types include:

  • Capture and hold — sustained coordination over multiple objectives
  • VIP escort — role specialisation and trust in under-fire decision-making
  • Search and secure — map awareness and communication
  • Elimination rounds — pressure management and team resilience

Between games, teams debrief spontaneously. What worked? What fell apart? Who stepped up as a leader? These natural reflections are some of the most valuable outcomes of an airsoft team day and require no facilitation — they happen organically when people share a real challenge.

All Equipment Included

No prior equipment ownership is required. The team event package includes everything participants need:

  • Airsoft replicas (safety-checked, joule-limited) for all participants
  • Protective gear: face masks, goggles and gloves
  • Biodegradable BBs
  • Full marshal support throughout the event
  • Customised game scenarios for your team size and objectives
  • Safety briefing before the start

Group sizes from 8 to 50 or more are accommodated. For larger groups, we run parallel games on the same day to ensure maximum engagement throughout.

Suitable for All Experience Levels

A team event works regardless of whether your group has any airsoft experience. The sport rewards communication and tactical thinking over physical ability, which means experienced and inexperienced players can genuinely contribute equally on the same team. Marshals balance the scenarios to match the group's experience level.

Participants aged 13 and above are welcome. Younger participants can join with written parental consent and parental supervision on the day.

Locations and Options

The primary venues are Tallinn (Harku) and Loksa (Suurpea). Both locations offer natural outdoor environments suited for dynamic team gameplay. By prior arrangement, events can also be held at other Estonian locations, including Suure-Jaani, Naissaare, Haapsalu, Viljandi or a client-proposed venue.
